My baby girl

Amy is now in Amsterdam. (Let's hope she's behaving herself for the 12 hours she's there) She gets on a plane bound for the US of A at 2 a.m. our time - and will be in Detroit tomorrow, ending up in Denver around 5 PM.

Can't wait to hear about the adventures of Carrie and Amy in Turkey! It sounds like they had quite a trip. All the while I've been earthbound here in Iowa.

But Paul Goldsmith was nearly swept away like Dorothy of Kansas tonight when a "pipe" tornado touched down close to our home. Was he hunkering down in the basement like he was supposed to, with Odie? Nope, he was out by Stofferahn's peering over the hill looking for the twister.
