Enter the boy wonder

Jud, left with his sissy and toothless wonder, cousin Colby who will soon have a million dollar fabulous mouth of teeth
The boy wonder (Judson David) breezed in today. He had a couple of appointments - physical, dental. He was just back from a job interview in Wichita yesterday. He and I began cranking loads of laundry through the front load Maytag. My those white tee shirts are looking mighty gray - if I had time I'd be doing some bleaching.

Jud and another young man who majored in Logistics traveled together to the middle of nowhere (where Wichita is...) and back to Ames yesterday evening. Then Jud felt the need to partake in some relaxing cocktails. And got just a few hours of sleep. Then had a phone interview at 7 a.m. (Bet he was sharp as a tack!)

Nevertheless he showed up in time for his 10 a.m. appointment with Doc Hoyt - who has known him since early childhood. Paul and I then took him to lunch at the Elms Club. Nothing like a little grease to make you feel better after a night out, I always say! We signed our taxes and stopped at the bank.

Then he was off to see Dr. Buck, who has been his dentist all his life. Not sure about those molars - missing 1? Oh well - at least it's not 9 like cousin Colby! Plus unsure about Wisdom teeth. Guess he'll be on his own dental insurance plan for that.

Jud had another phone interview when he got home from Buck's office. A company in St. Jo Mo. By the time he left Creston he had a second phone interview lined up with the 7 a.m. phone interview company, and a site interview in St. Jo, Mo next week. He was fretting about his school schedule and spring break - ski trip to Breckenridge. Busy boy! I hope somebody shakes loose with a job offer. Closer rather than farther away.

Then he took off for Ames - busy social schedule ya know.
