The Voice

No not a TV show. It's my blog voice...it's back! Finally it's back with the installation of a Wifi modem at our loft on Court Avenue in DSM. Phew - I was actually starting to feel quite stifled!

301 East Court

We arrived in DSM Sunday, various items in tow for our new living quarters. We'd only seen it briefly a few weeks ago - so we didn't know the details about the place. Like what it had for dishes, clocks, furniture. Stuff like that.

When we arrived in town, the fella we were supposed to meet to get the keys seemed to be a bit under the weather. He had ridden his bike in the Saturday snowstorm on the BRR ride - and then partied a bit. So it was a small hassle getting that done.

Odie the wonder dog was excited to be with us. She rode along to Super Target - waiting in the car while we shopped for essentials for the place. Including potty bags for her. It's not like she has her own yard anymore.

We hauled stuff into 301 East Court #202, and unpacked. About that time a certain football game called the Super Bowl was getting ready to start. I buzzed over to Zombie Burger to pick up carryout for the two of us. We got settled in front of the TV with our laptops and discovered we had no Wifi. Dang! Cutoff again.

Mediacom came today and installed a new modem - and now we're set! Ahh it feels so good.
